A Star To Wish Upon

It is that I am, and it is that I will always be 

Bound within the confines of the shadow of your love

Caught in the grip of a heart that holds onto all dreams

And farther not I wander still to be within your arms

And caress with my smile your kiss upon my lips it seems

I harbor thoughts of love of long time lost and gone and those of yet to be

And of all those loves that would be within our grasp

Look upon me with eyes of pure delight sweet dream

And bring from past times, love found, surely one to last

And forever wait if I must to hold you gently within my arms

Deliver my words of love softly sounding upon your ears

Give in to desires to speak your name sweetly from my lips falling

Wondering if the day will come that the dreams of ongoing passion
